The research project "Transnational single men. An ethnography about singleness among migrated men in the European Union" is a study led by Professor Ulf Mellström and Karlstad University.

This panel focuses on sexual and gendered resistances and claims for rights, self-definition and subject formation, both in the form of organised activism and lived experience in opposition to dominant norms.
The book "Stoppa matsvinnet! – en förpackad lösning" (unofficial translation: Stop Wasting Food — a Package Solution), written by Fredrik Wikström and Helén Williams, was named the winner in the Food, Climate and Environment category in the contest “Årets Svenska Måltidslitteratur 2022”.
Fredrik Wikström and Helén Williams are active at Service Research Center (CTF), as well as at the discipline of Energy and Environmental Technology at Karlstad University.

Against the backdrop of current discussions of GDPR, privacy rights, and data protection, this presentation engages with questions of privacy and agency in networked publics of humans and nonhumans.
Black Friday attracts customers to shop more. At the same time reports on climate change with calls for changed consumption habits and counter-reactions such as White Monday are growing stronger. What is it that makes consumers take part in the shopping frenzy despite increased climate anxiety? Professor Per Kristensson explains.
