The library system Koha
On November 30 2020, we changed the library system. On this page you can read more about what the library system Koha means for you as a library user.
We have an automatic system for re-loaning items. This means that you will get a 14 day loan period, and that the item's loan period is automatically renewed as long as no one has reserved the item. You are notified by e-mail when re-loaning no longer is possible.
Course reference books still need to be returned by kl. 23:59 the same day as they were borrowed.
Login and My loans
Login to My loans and for Reservations is done with KauID for students and staff. Others log in with social security number and PIN code.
Only one email address can be used for messages. If you receive messages to several addresses today, you should check which one will be used. For students, the e-mail address is retrieved from Ladok (MittKau).
Koha is a web-based open source ILS (integrated library system) used by different library types. If you are interested, you can read more about Koha on Wikipedia.
