The Kau card is a multifunctional card, designed to increase security at the university, facilitate daily life for the card owner and effectivise the card management.

What to do in case of unexpected events

On this page you find information on what to do if something happens. In the event of an emergency, always call 112 first.

Emergency situation

In case of emergency, call 112 to reach emergency services, police or to call for an ambulance, talk to an on-call priest or receive medical advice in case of emergency poisoning. Do not end the conversation before receiving instructions from the emergency dispatcher.

About the Student Health Services

Counselling is available to all students at Karlstad University free of charge. The Student Health Services has counsellors and a Special Education Needs Coordinator.
