At the end of March, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) hosted the webinar Dark Commercial Patterns: Experiences and Tools for Education and Business Guidance. Agnieszka Kitowska, postdoctoral researcher in Computer Science, was one of the speakers.
ESD deals with pupils’ ability to address complex societal challenges. It empowers them to make informed decisions in situations when there is a conflict of values related to economic, environmental and social issues.
The Swedish Institute for Educational Research funded a practice-based research study in a Swedish municipality during 2017-2022. The longitudinal research study ran parallel to a local practical school development project on ESD in the municipality.

Arbetsmarknad & Arbetsliv is a cooperation between Working Life Science at Karlstad Business School and Sociology and Working Life Science at Univeristy of Gothenburg.
JMIR Publications publishes scientific articles related to the use of technology in healthcare. At present the publishers holds 35 journals covering subjects such as e-health, telemedicine and information systems in medicine.
The usability lab is equipped with eye-tracking technology, specially useful to carry out usability testing of webpages and graphical elements of interactive programs. It is also possible to record where a person looks at films and video commercials.
The Eye-tracker monitor available in the lab is manufactured by Tobii Technology, world leader in eye-tracking and eye-control solutions.Tobii Pro Lab is the software system used for controlling the eye-tracking monitor.

We use a "cetisPV-CTL1" IV curve tracer from Halm, equipped with a flash sun simulator.
The system measures the IV-curve of solar cells under AM1.5 illumination and additionally under a different illumination to precisely calculate the series resistance of the cell - all during one flash.
