In this course we adress different perspectives on customer-oriented service work.
Course content
The course provides different perspectives on customer-oriented service work and addresses:
Customers' different roles
Customer relations
Customer-oriented service work from an organizational perspective
The customer's role in service production and what implications this has for work in different types of service companies

I will present the fenomenon "API MAnagement" and its importance for IoT. I will also present some examples of how we help customers understand and utlise API Management.
Presentation and dicsussion will be held in Information System's coffee room, 1A349, from 1:15PM on Wednesday December 9.

Karger is a Swiss-based global publisher in health sciences. KaU researchers can publish open access free of charge with any of Karger's journals, through a deal between Bibsam and Karger. The current agreement is valid 2025-2027.
How does it work?The agreement covers all Karger hybrid and fully open access journals.
Due to server maintenance, no links to the library's e-resources will work on Monday, October 21 from 08:00 in the morning. Hopefully it works again after lunch.
This appliesboth to databases and articles as well as ebooks.
We will post a list of links that work if you are on campus, to the most frequently used resources.

Right now the library has a trial period of ACM Digital Library. Here you can find full text of every article ever published by ACM and bibliographic citations from major publishers in computing.
TThe trial period ends 31 Oktober.

As of August 2013, some changes will be made to Harvard Business Review article access in Business Source Premier.
Currently Business Source Premier contains 12,824 full-text articles from Harvard Business Review. 500 of these articles will become read-only as of August. Printing or downloading will no longer be permitted.

Four students on the Master of Science in Engineering programme helped to develop Dysconnect, an app with podcast dramas that enhance the listening experience through interactive effects. The app was presented for the first time to the public at a cultural festival in Scotland over the weekend.

In a doctoral thesis the national governing system is studied through the Swedish Schools Inspectorate’s use of sanctions, and effects for the local governing and managing schools by principals and governing bodies. The study draws on theories about governing, auditing and management. In a document study, the reinforced supervision and the new sanctions were analysed.
Labor market intermediary platforms and mediatization in the Swedish gig economy.
The SWEGIG project combines working life science with media studies in order to examine the consequences of this mediatization through a case study of producers and users of these digital media platforms.
