In a collaborative effort to assure the quality of education at their universities, some universities are making their own evaluation of each other. Today the Treklöver Report about Karlstad Business School's- part of Karlstad University - educational programmes in Information Systems was published.
The report mentions several good examples at the Information Systems group at Karlstad Business School, all to be shared by the Information Systems community in Sweden .

ReQtest is a tool for Test Management, Error Reports and Requirement Management. After a presentation of the tool, we will discuss course-related use of this tool.
Jonas Dahlsjö from ReQtest presents, via Skype, the tool ReQtest (http://reqtest.se/).
ReQtest, which is a cloud service, is used in our course Acquisition of Information Systems (ISGA03), when this course is taught on distance.

2019 was an active and successful year for researchers within SMEER. Several large projects have been completed and others started up during the year, including large research grants from the Swedish Research Council, which includes collaboration with researchers from Germany. SMEER researchers have taken great responsibility for teacher education, not least for the initiative towards postgraduate teachers (KPF).
There will be a national minute of silence on Tuesday 11 February in honour of the victims of the tragedy in Örebro. Karlstad University will participate.
The initiative of a national minute of silence was declared by the Swedish government, who also urge that flags be flown at half-mast from 09.00 until the moment of silence has ended.
– 4 February will forever mark a dark day in Swedish history.

Karlstad Lean Factory® (KLF) is a unique flexible full scale training environment that resembles an industrial factory. It was built with support from the European Regional Development Fund and from Region Värmland (Sweden).
Originally designed and built for Lean Production training of industrial professionals, it is also used in research, education of university students, and as a catalyst for production innovation.

What do you do today?
“I am an assistant auditor at Grant Thornton and work in Karlstad. After graduation, I immediately got a job at PWC in Norrköping. I really felt that it was the right job for me, but my girlfriend was still in Karlstad and a long-distance relationship is not that easy. So I moved back to Karlstad and switched to Grant Thornton. This time it was also easy to find employment because of what I had studied at the Karlstad Business School and my theoretical background.

As of the spring of 2020, there have been some changes in UPE’s range of courses and working strategy regarding competence development for university teachers. The change aims at achieving more flexibility.
