Jerker Moodysson member of UHR’s new board
2025-04-02Karlstad University’s vice-chancellor, Jerker Moodysson, has been appointed as a board member of the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) for the next three years.
– I’m looking forward to working on development issues related to higher education in a new context for me, says Jerker Moodysson.
– Among other things, UHR is responsible for coordinating admissions, internationalisation and digital services. They also work with information and analyses. I will be contributing to this work from the perspective of a higher education institution.
The government approved the new board on 20 March. A total of eight people were appointed for the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028. In addition to Jerker Moodysson, the board includes the following members:
Elsa Berlin, student
Krister Dackland, IT director, the Swedish Public Employment Service
Susanne Kristensson, university director, Lund University
Johanna Redelius, head of unit, RISE
Adrian Ryberg, student
Annika Rembe, former director-general of the Swedish Institute (chair)
Eino Örnfeldt, director-general of the Swedish Council for Higher Education
