'What, for our times, does it mean to live well in a world worth living in for all?' A global project with the aim to investigate what it means to live well in a world worth living in for all, based on people around the world sharing their thoughts. The project is carried out within the framework of the international research network Pedagogy, Education and Praxis (PEP). Swedish principals contribute their thoughts in the form of short film clips and interviews.

30 years celebration at CTF

Thirty years ago CTF, Service Research Center, was established at Karlstad University. How it happened, success factors and the latest from today’s research were included in the program when CTF held its anniversary celebration on October 6th at Karlstad University. Martin Löfgren, Deputy Head at Karlstad Business School at Karlstad University, opened the event and welcomed everyone.

As the festive season approaches, and with it the opportunity for some rest, we are preparing to close the book on CTF’s 38th year and look forward to new and exciting opportunities in research and education. Reflecting on the past year, I feel pride in several significant achievements and moments of excitement. “Today’s society is constantly changing and it is important to identify the needs and contribute with competence that cover those needs.” Born in Östersund, Jan Nilsson is a qualified nurse who has worked in emergency care. After moving to Stockholm, he studied to become a nursing teacher and worked for a while at what was then known as the Swedish Rescue Services Agency, where he taught Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine.
