The public sector tops the digital trust list according to a new survey on Swedes’ view of digital privacy conducted in collaboration with researchers from the Service Research Center (CTF) at Karlstad University. Another conclusion is that more and more people are willing to sell their personal information.
In 2015, 37 percent of Swedes stated that they have confidence in the public sector when it comes to handling personal information digitally.

For the project manager this involves many tasks, for example: preparations and planning, monitoring activities and progress, managing funds, reporting, managing deviations and amendments.

”Everyone clapped because they were expected to”, is the title of the C-essay which won the 2019 Essay Award presented by the Region West HR Association. The authors are Emma Hammarberg and Fanny Olsson, who studied the Human Resource Management and Working Life programme at Karlstad Business School.
The winning essay in HR studies centres on organisation culture and loyalty. The jury’s citation was, among other things, that the essay is valuable for the HR profession.

Björn Sjöstrand, senior lecturer in Chemical Engineering, has been awarded the Heinzel-Mondi-Sappi Award for his research on the virtual paper machine. His research makes it possible to optimise and test the manufacturing process in the industry, without expensive production stoppages.
