As part of the SCIENCE SKILLS TO GO workshop series, we will explore online research profiles and strategies for promoting yourself as a researcher and improving your research visibility.Although publishing the results of a research project, such as in an article, and receiving attribution for that work might seem like the final stage of dissemination, it actually marks the beginning of the scientific disclosure process on the web.
In this Science skills to go seminar, we will have a closer look at the concept of open peer review, a transformative approach to scholarly publishing that emphasizes transparency and accountability. We will explore perceived key benefits of open peer review, such as increased trust in the review process, enhanced collaboration among researchers, and the potential for higher-quality feedback.
