Mitt Kau is a digital service for those studying at Karlstad University. We launched the service in the summer of 2020 and early this fall all students will be able to use Mitt Kau. However, building systems and updating takes some time. There is a lot to think about and develop.

The situation surrounding the course Intercultural studies: race and whiteness in Sweden, which has attracted a lot of media attention, has led to a report being filed with the Disciplinary Board of Karlstad University.

Access to equipment is a fundamental requirement for children and young people to participate in sports and leisure activities. Equipment is the second largest cost for individuals involved in sports, following fees. In 2021, the average Swede spent SEK 2,700 on sports equipment (including clothing).
CGF has existed as a research group since 2006, but its roots trace back to the early 1990s when it operated under the name Gender Equality Center. Today, CGF is a research center at Karlstad University and is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. We work closely and extensively with the Gender Studies department.
