HOT is a made-up short for the Swedish project name ‘Hoppet till Tor’, roughly translatable to ‘The hope/jump to Tor’. This project focuses on the first connection from a user’s computer into the Tor network.

Abstract: In this presentation, Sayaka Osanami Törngren establishes what she means by race and how race matters in Sweden despite the common claim that “race does not matter”.
The revenue generated by orbital and suborbital space travel is expected to soar to 214 billion dollars by 2030. The increased access to space travel has created a space market.
Space tourism, a niche part of the flight industry, has radically transformed the private sector.

Social media platforms have been characterised in two main ways, first by their programmability (Bogost and Montfort 2010), that is the capacity to build software or analytics on top of their data and functionalities.
Service design has become a widely utilized method for service innovation in the private and public sector. But what is it about, and does it add to the previously known methods of service development and innovation?
To understand service design and what makes it unique, we inspected what service design encompasses. This task proved to be an almost devastating task because there are virtually hundreds of design tools and methods.

Henrik Rahm grew up in Linköping and completed a degree in education in Lund in the 1980s, specialising in German, Swedish and Swedish as a second language.
We are happy to welcome Anna Nilstomt, new PhD student in Psychology at CTF. She will, among other things, study how digitalized services can help improve peoples health.
What is your research focus?

Human geography is the study of the interplay between people, places and the environment. The subject focuses on how we live, act and make sense of our world and our place in it. Humanity shapes the world, while being shaped by it. The interaction has multiple dimensions - political, economic and social.
P?teris Rudz?js, Riga Technical University, presented parts of his forthcoming thesis entitled "Development of Education Demand and Offer Information Monitoring System's Model".
The event were at Information Systems coffee room the 4th of March.
After the presentation he also presented the system which had been developed.
Creative Commons licensingOpen access means that all scientific publications that are the result of publicly funded research should be made openly available when they are published. The easiest way to publish research results openly is to use a Creative Commons license (CC license). Which most research funders also require.

To make our society more sustainable, we need to reduce the carbon footprint of scalable products. This means that it is not enough to invent a new “green” technology. We also need to create a market for it, know how to expand this market, help users of green technology and other important stakeholders to see the environmental, financial and societal benefits in this new market.

What creates value for fans, and what does their experience look like in today's digital music community? This is what researchers Jenny Karlsson and Jessica Edlom have studied by following the fan community of the Swedish artist Robyn.
Engagement from fans is an important engine when promoting artists. Active and co-creative fans are sought after, used, tracked and taken for granted in the quest for strong music brands.
