Authenticity has long been a keyword in the discourses of and surrounding popular music. What is an authentic musical expression? Who is a true fan?
Bridget Kane, PhD, has pursued research within Health Informatics and CSCW at Trinity College and St. James Hospital in Dublin. During the spring 2016 she will help students who write HCI theses in English. She will also contribute to the master course Models and Methods for Multimedia Development. She has a post-graduate diploma in Statistics and will assist in the research education during this spring.

People who are successful in their fields often owe their success to some kind of mentor – someone who has not only guided and encouraged their skills but also their personalities. You can also become a mentor to a student.
Mentorship is a relationship for development and learning, a tool to stimulate professional and personal development. Mentorship involves two persons – a mentor and a novice – who meet regularly to develop together.
The programme has been redesigned with two semesters of in-depth study in an elective subject and with a clearer focus on cultural policy and conservation. Why?
The Culture, Policy and Management Programme is based on Cultural Studies generally, with a focus on cultural policy and cultural heritage. Two semesters are devoted to in-depth study of a field, namely Film Studies, History, History of Ideas, Art History and Visual Studies or Political Science.

Competence development, competence supply, further education, continuing education, reskill, upskill and certainly many more names are used for what KAU calls "commissioned education". Commissioned education is skills development for professionals where the employer is responsible for financing the training.
The subject of Swedish conducts research in several areas, of which a large portion relates to different points of view on literacy – writing and reading – from a learning perspective. This includes projects on the topic of reading multimodal texts in Years 7–9, digital literacy instruction in teacher education, and the writing development of students in higher education.
In recent years Servitization has become one of the hottest concepts in service research, especially among manufacturing companies. However, sooner or later these companies discover that their existing development methods, and – tools are not able to handle the specific demands of service development.
