- I will spend the spring semester here at University of Otago to work on my thesis, make new contacts and develop my international network. In addition, I will take the opportunity to experience a beautiful country with amazing nature and incredibly nice people.
We offer a large number of courses, for students who want to try dancing full time and who want to mature as a dancer before embarking on a career, courses for less experienced dancers who want to try dance and courses for ordinary dancers who want to gain additional knowledge and experience.

Digital examinations are a part of a number of courses at Karlstad University. You will receive more information from teaching staff if your courses are examined digitally. Students complete digital exams on their own computers, or on computers borrowed for this purpose.
As a student, you are responsible for preparing for writing a digital exam.
For a short period, we will have 2 different systems in which we will do digital exams.
The company Askås introduced itself to around 70 IT students at Karlstad University during a Snits lunch on 21 February. Peter Smersfeldt, HR director and in charge of customer services gave a talk about the company, its e-commerce system and the underlying technology.
Askås celebrates a 20-year anniversary in 2017. Twenty years ago the entrepreneur Jonas Askås started to develop an e-commerce system to sell bicycle components.
Alan L. Smith is from Rochester, New York, USA. He has earned a BA degree in psychology from the University of Rochester, a MS degree in exercise and sport science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a PhD in exercise and movement science from the University of Oregon. His career within sport and exercise psychology has been at universities as a faculty member and administrator.
Julio Angulo was awarded his doctorate at Karlstad University in 2015 and is now doing research on user experience at Google. On 13 January he visited Karlstad University to give a lecture on his journey from Karlstad to Google to inspire students.

When children can not read or write, which mathematics can one work with then? Working with problem solving in preschool class can be challenging, exciting, educational and rewarding for both students and teachers. The project shows that it is desirable and fun to let the preschool class mathematics teaching to be based on problem solving.
2014-2015: Design study in eight preschool classes with about 150 students.

What can be tested?
The Biomass Processing Factory is a test bed for research, development, innovation and teaching around the processing and biomass treatment.
Alongside the various History courses (History I-IV), there are several related modules in subject-specific education. In addition, History III offers a literature pedagogy course. For teaching students, subject-specific education is part of the practical teacher training programme.
What is History Education?
In general terms, the subject matter of history didactics/pedagogy is how we relate to history.
