"Hand in hand we stand" is a project in collaboration between students, teachers, school health services, and school leaders. The goal is to develop a model to promote mental health among young people in the school environment.
The aim of the research project is to develop a model for health promotion work in school environments with a focus on mental health among children and adolescents.
We welcome Oksana Tokar, Ph D Student at the Department IT Management & Consulting, Universität Hamburg, in Germany, who will be visiting us for the next two weeks.
- During my stay at CTF I will be working on my paper about crossing service systems boundaries with my co-writers Tilo Böhmann, Universität Hamburg, Bo Edvardsson and Bard Tronvoll, CTF. I will also meet with researchers at CTF that are working on the same topic.
The purpose of the project is to provide knowledge of climate literacy based on empirical data to be used in school. The researchers have developed a theoretical model of what knowledge, abilities and attitudes constitute students’ climate literacy, hypotheses about what factors affect climate literacy, and how climate literacy can lead to a willingness to act in a more climate-friendly way.

The conflicts fall into three categories – easy, difficult and impossible. A collaboration between working life science and sociology has led to a book for students.
Jonas Axelsson, Senior Lecturer in working life science at Karlstad Business School, and Markus Arvidson, Senior Lecturer in sociology at Karlstad University, have a long-term interest in matters of loyalty. They have known each other for more than ten years and had many discussions on the topic.
Linking Instruction and Student Achievement – Professional Learning Observations of Teaching
LISA-PLOT is a combined research and development project investigating the importance of peer feedback and video-based group reflections for the development of teachers' teaching quality. Teachers are trained to use research-based criteria as a basis for observing and giving feedback to each other on their teaching.

As main field of study, Cultural Studies includes a broad selection of courses as part of the Culture, Policy and Management Programme, but also as independent courses for non-programme students.

English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers’ motivation has not been given enough attention, particularly in China, where English plays a key role. Nordtrad is a folk music conference for students and teachers in higher music education from the Nordic and Baltic countries. The conference is arranged every year in rotation by different host schools, and in 2023 Ingesund School of Music is the proud organizer.
During the week, students from seven different countries are invited to participate in lectures, workshops, concerts, field trips, jam sessions and fellowship.
