The project aims at the setup of a full educational program including an undergraduate Bachelor and a graduate Master degree. Due to the great amount of administratively imposed constraints on the undergraduate education, it was decided to assign the main responsibility of this part to the national partners in Central Asia themselves.

Racializing Sweden was financed by the Swedish Research Council and conducted by KuFo researcher Tobias Hübinette.
This project aims at analyzing Swedish non-white migrant and minority narratives in the form of novels, literary texts and autobiographies as a way of studying how the authors write about and relate to race, whiteness and Swedishness and articulate new perspectives on and constructions of Swedishness.
Access to equipment is a fundamental requirement for children and young people to participate in sports and leisure activities. Equipment is the second largest cost for individuals involved in sports, following fees. In 2021, the average Swede spent SEK 2,700 on sports equipment (including clothing).
On 22-25 September, the Gothenburg Book Fair returns to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and welcomes international and national authors and a book-loving audience hungry for new knowledge. - The Business School and Karlstad University's international office participated in the conference together with 7,300 representatives from universities around the world.
- This year's theme was "En Route". From Sweden, nine other universities from all over the country participated to market Sweden as a study destination.

The "forgotten" asylum seekers from Afghanistan
– A study on inclusion and exclusion processes affecting young Hazara refugees in Sweden.
This project is a collaboration between Martin Joormann (Associate Professor in Social Work at KAU) and Anna Lundberg (Professor in Sociology of Law at LU). The project aims to conduct a joint analysis of previously collected data, supplement it with additional data in the form of public documentation, and publish a scientific article.

The Trans Studies Research Residency programme started in February 2017 as an initiative of the Trans Studies research group working at the Centre for Gender Studies. The aim is to create an inspiring space for collaboration between trans scholars as well as offer much needed time for focusing on research and writing. The residency will take place for the fourth time in spring 2019.

… you have defended your doctoral thesis: “Self-tracking, datafication and the biopolitical prosumption of life”. What is your thesis about?
- The thesis focuses on and examines the popular consumption phenomenon of self-tracking, which allows and enables consumers to track, quantify and datafy diverse facets of their lives.
The graduate school offers doctoral positions in various subjects and is held together by joint courses and seminars and focuses on practice based research. It aims to develop knowledge of how different content in specific school subjects is transformed in teaching. The Graduate School is a collaboration between Karlstad University, Halmstad University and University West.
Right now there is project at Samot, The Service and Market Oriented Transport Research Group at Karlstad University, which focuses on increasing the understanding of how travelers perceive their daily travel. The researchers have developed a tool which they can measure the experiences in real time.
- With the help of our mobile app, we hope to gain more knowledge about travelers experiences and needs.

The project “Foundational Algorithms, Protocols, and Systems for Multi-Tier 6G-Non-Terrestrial Networks Integrated Communication and Environmental Sensing (6G-NTN-E),” has been awarded a grant of 28 MSEK by the Swedish Research Council.
