You can now submit proposals for sessions for FEKIS 2024 in Karlstad. The theme for this year’s conference is: Renewal and democracy in a disruptive world. Three proposed types of sessions: Presentation – Generally 2–4 people presenting relevant research, teaching methods or something else of relevance to the discipline of Business Administration, and which preferably is tied to the theme of the conference.

On May 27, computer science students presented their theses to an open audience that included companies, faculty, and fellow students. The new format, where students give presentations of their theses, was introduced under the name EPiCS. It featured over 30 presentations held in three parallel sessions. The day concluded with a dinner in Building 21 in the evening. One of the presentations was given by students Rasmus Melin and Simon Andersson.

His research will focus on the development of digital tools and services based on the needs and possibilities that customers, patients, and citizens are experiencing, or could expect to experience in the future. Sture is a certified psychologist and graduated from Umeå Unviersity in 2000.

Is an app the right way to guide visitors to the central Hospital in Karlstad? A new research study will try to provide an answer to that question. The study is a breakthrough for research in real location within DigitalWell. The methodology is developed at Karlstad University and for the trials a prototyping system called Ozlab is used. “It looks like an app but is controlled by a real person.
Why did you choose the Dance Pedagogy programme? “I took the Dance 60 and Dance and Learning courses earlier, and I knew that I wanted to work with dance in some way. I was wondering which direction I should take when I heard of the new Dance Pedagogy programme. I also like studying in Karlstad and didn’t want to move, so I was really glad when the Dance Pedagogy programme started here at Karlstad University.
