School subjects are in constant change and in this project we put a focus on how school subjects are constructed in relation to formal and informal aspects and how this can be understood in relation to powerful knowledge. In addition we have a special interest in how these constructions can be understood from a policy perspective. With regard to formal aspects, we study how subjects are constructed and manifested in national tests of English, History and Swedish.

Proximity to nature and to Ingesund School of Music are the two main advantages to living in one of MHI’s two student accommodations. A total of 20 rooms can be rented for the academic year, but not during the summer vacation, when they are rented out to participants in summer courses.
Each room is furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, desk and lamps. Students supply their own bedding and tableware.
River Connectivity
Rivers are dependent on unencumbered movement from headwaters to river mouths by many different organisms. The construction of barriers such as dams not only hinders free movement within rivers but also modifies riverine habitats and their associated biological communities.

eLife is a non-profit scientific platform and journal which publishes research in medicine and the life sciences. The agreement, funded by Forte, Formas, Vetenskapsrådet and Vinnova, offers KAU researchers open access publishing at no cost in the journal.

Articles submitted to eLife from 1 January 2024 are eligible within the agreement.
Open educational resources (OER) usually refer to digital learning resources that can be freely used, adopted and reused in various teaching and research contexts. Angela Caridà have a Ph D in Economic and Management of Healthcare. Her main areas of interest are service innovation, interactive marketing and co-creation. In the last two years her research focus has been on the service innovation in healthcare.

This lecture explores the concept of ‘rural’ through the lens of digital geography. It will begin with a larger discussion of rural and digital issues before turning to the example of bees.
