The anthology is edited by Tobias Hübinette and Peter Wikström, researchers at the Research Group for Culture Studies (Kufo) at Karlstad University.

Health insurance is one of the foundations of Swedish welfare, and a security for citizens that are unable to work due sick leave. Today, citizens on sick leave have to work and be active in their contact with administrative officers at the Social Insurance Agency, in what is named bureaucratic co-creation, to get their case processed and to receive health insurance benefits.
Karlstad University has received support from the Swedish Agency for Growth (Tillväxtverket) to build a research environment for circular forest-based bioeconomy, in close cooperation with the region's small and medium-sized enterprises. The research environment is Pro2BE - Processes and products for a circular bioeconomy.

This is shown in a new study presented by Karlstad researcher Mohammad Rajiullah at The Web Conference 2019, a top-ranked (A*) conference held on the 13th –17th May in San Francisco, USA. PAULA HOLST ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP SPRING 2017 BRUSSELS, BELGIUM REGION VÄRMLAND EUROPEAN OFFICE "LITTLE DID I KNOW WHEN I ACCEPTED AN INTERNSHIP THIS TIME LAST YEAR THAT I WOULD LATER MOVE TO BRUSSELS FULL-TIME!” In the spring of 2017, I carried out my practical placement at Region Värmland’s European Office. I studied the political science master programme at Karlstad University and chose to complete my programme with international placement.
CSD started in 2006 and consists of 20 researchers at Karlstad university. We collaborate with researchers from other universities in Sweden, the Nordics and internationally. University of Vaasa (Finland), Karlstads universitet (Sverige) och Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Tyskland) genomför tillsammans en tvärvetenskaplig workshop som vänder sig till forskare. Workshopen genomförs på engelska. Syftet är att utforska gemensamma forskningsintressen inom Computer Science, Data-Science och Big Data.
