Johan Högberg has written a dissertation on this topic and sees gamification as a powerful tool to change or maintain behavior. "I have looked at certain parts of the gaming experience, and how to use it for marketing purposes. I have conducted experiments in stores and investigated how to create customer engagement and sales with the help of gamification.

This is what Stefan Alfredsson, senior lecturer in Computer Science, would like to find out in his research. It is hard to imagine life without a mobile phone. The EU H2020 funded project MONROE (Measuring Mobile Broadband Networks in Europe) builds and operates an open, European-scale platform with multi-homing capabilities to run experiments on operational Mobile Broadband (MBB) networks. External users can perform measurements and contribute hardware and software extensions to the platform through the process of Open Calls.

There is a great need to test the stability and performance of mobile broadband networks. A transnational European platform for testing mobile broadband networks has been developed by the MONROE (Measuring Mobile Broadband Networks in Europe) project. The platform is now open and accessible to external actors.
