The project Accountability for Cloud and other Future Internet Services (A4Cloud) is an Integrating Project in the EU 7th Framework Program. A4Cloud aims to develop mechanisms and tools to enable cloud service providers to give their users appropriate control and transparency over how their data is used. A4Cloud is coordinated by HP Labs (UK).

Ingesund School of Music (MHI) has an illustrious history, beginning with its founder Valdemar Dahlgren, principal and enthusiastic educator. MHI was founded by Valdemar Dahlgren in 1923 as Folkliga musikskolan [the Folk Music School]. It was a branch of western Värmland Folk High School, which would later become Ingesund Folk High School.

We propose a back-to-back panel, from the Global Gender Matters (GGM) Network, based at the Department of Gender Studies, Lund University. We are an interdisciplinary group of scholars, who work on multiple scopes and scales of empirical and theoretical frameworks on local and global issues through a gendered and feminist lens.

Welcome to a GlobeLife network webinar titled "Debunking Disaster Myths" on 22 March. The webinar is a collaboration between the Centre of Natural Hazards and Disaster Science and Karolinska Institutet. Disasters seriously disrupt the functioning of societies and cause needs that overwhelm existing capacities. There wasn't always a university in Karlstad. Fact is, we became a university in 1999. But there is a long tradition of higher education in Karlstad. There's been teacher education here since 1843, and it goes on to this day.

Intercultural Studies offers a wide range of courses focusing on different aspects of intercultural society and the philosophical traditions of the subject. Courses are taught in Swedish and English, and offered as distance or on-campus courses, full-time or part-time. At Karlstad University, students can choose intercultural studies as the main field of study in a Degree of Bachelor of Arts.
