Datafication and Migration
Digital technologies and datafied systems are increasingly used to surveil, control and manage migration. New automated systems from facial recognition to language detection have profoundly intensified and changed migration and border policies.
The industry of today and tomorrow requires modern technology where cooperation takes place between people, between people and machines, and between machines. Machines can monitor themselves, analyse results and autonomously optimise operating conditions and production. The result is greater efficiency and productivity. A new era of industrial robots that can work side by side with humans in above all different forms of small component assembly and material handling has already begun.

Mobile networks are constantly evolving to enable improved throughput and low latency for applications. However, it has been shown that current standard congestion control algorithms can cause long delays in mobile networks due to over-allocation of buffers. In his thesis, Habtegebreil Kassaye Haile has investigated the performance of two possible solutions to this problem.
The Internet is constantly evolving.

Johan Renault, master program student in marketing, how was your green journey to Schwäbisch Hall in Germany?
- The journey went extremely well. It was fun to drive down all together, and we got to know each other along the way since we did not know each other before, so it was really fun. We stopped a few times along the way, but it actually didn’t feel that long when driving down all together, and we didn’t get bored.
