As of this year, the university’s former IT purchase council (”it-beställarrådet”, IT-BR) has moved towards a broader and more strategic mission under a new name, the IT Council.
The overall aim of research is to generate new knowledge so that we can understand the world we live in and change it for the better. Confidence in researchers and their handling of the ethical issues that arise in all research is therefore a key condition for conducting research and applying research results.
