What was it like, studying the Master Programme in Information Systems? - I had a very good time in Karlstad and I am happy about my choice of education. I had amazing teachers, classmates, tutors and later on even colleagues. The programme consists of many challenging elements and a great freedom of choice. Why did you choose this programme? - Originally, I chose Information Systems – the bachelor programme in web and multimedia – because I wanted to be a web developer.

It is one of the key elements in defining the research and teaching landscape of CGF. Understanding transgender as a non-linear and deterritorialising movement away from birth assigned sex, this field participates in the ongoing project of undoing the western and eurocentric norms of the gender binary.

The article "Institutional Complexity as a Driver for Innovation in Service Ecosystems” by Jaakko Siltaloppi, Kaisa Koskela-Huotari and Stephen L. Vargo has been presented the Informs Service Science 2017 Best Article Award. – The article uses institutional theory to explain why diversity is important for novel ideas. Institutions here refer to the rules, norms and meanings that guide how people think and act.

In December 14-16 our lab assistant Malin Wik is supervising the installationen of the web-based Ozlab. Associate Professor Rodney Clarke directs the Business Research Lab at the University of Wollongong.

Full speed ahead in Ozlab

The usability lab, Ozlab, has been frequently occupied this spring, among other thins for eyetracking-surveys, updating of the manual and introductionfilms. From the latter half of January we had two German students as internships for 10 weeks, Antonia Appel and Jakob Kümmerle, from DHBW, Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg. They helped students conducting various projects on undergraduate and master level with eyetracking equipment.
