The additive manufacturing laboratory (AT-LAB) at Karlstad University is equipped with a laser beam powder bed fusion Renishaw AM400 3D printer, but research interests are extended to other methods like electron beam powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, wire ark additive manufacturing, and others. Research in AM includes the development of process parameters, investigation of microstructure and properties, surface and tribological characterization, and machinability properties.

Preparation
Do I have to sign up for a digital exam in advance?
Yes. You must always register for an exam in advance. You register for a digital exam via “My Ladok”, just like with a “regular” written exam. Pay attention to when the last registration date is.
Do I need an anonymity code?
A digital exam is performed anonymously with the same security as a “regular” written exam.

The European Information Society (EIS) requires technologies which address trust and security yet also preserve the privacy of individuals. The DRIVE project aims to investigate how latency-sensitive mobile services can be designed in the most optimized, secure, and energy-efficient way possible. Progress in this research area is crucial for many societal functions, such as autonomous driving, autonomous manufacturing, smart energy solutions, and remote surgery.

– I earned my degree in psychology in Oslo before moving to Karlstad in 2013, where I began working in child and adolescent psychiatry. During my seven years there, I specialized in clinical psychology.

Intercultural Studies is an interdisciplinary field of inquiry that examines the significance of cultural differences in shaping social relations in contemporary society. From various theoretical and methodological perspectives, researchers examine ethnic, religious and linguistic heterogeneity, migration processes, relations between minority and majority constellations in different societies, and changing social identities.
Karlstad Business School has approximately 130 employees. What brings us together is a deep interest in economics and business.
Around 2 500 students every year choose to study programmes or courses at Karlstad Business School, either first or second cycle. Most of the academics also conduct research in one of the multidisciplinary research centres or in their subject area.

The trial period has now ended, and evaluation is in progress.
Scopus AI is an add-on that is not included in the regular offering of the database, but KAU now has access to it on a trial basis for four weeks (October 7th-November 6th , 2024).
