After a few issues with only a few history didatcic articles we improve this by having three such articles in 2018:1. Depending on our interset and profession we read the articles in different ways. The traditional historian read the articles in a general way and with different references than the history didactic. And this is what makes Nordidactica such an interesting meeting point for social studies didactics. The different subject fields of didactics can influence each other.

Birgitta Haglund was born in Halmstad and lived there until graduating upper secondary school. After general psychology studies in Gothenburg, she was admitted to dentistry school.
Andrea Schalley, professor of English, has received funding from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) to conduct full-time research in 2025-2026. She will complete a monograph on language maintenance, synthesising and contextualising a decade of research.
“I am extremely grateful for the RJ sabbatical and the opportunity to focus exclusively on my research,” says Andrea Schalley.

After three years of preparation, the international conference combining ECHA and IGMCG will finally take place during Midsummer week. The conference is held at Sundsta-Älvkullegymnasiet in Karlstad and brings together participants from around the world to explore inclusive education for gifted children.
ECHA and IGMCG usually organise their own separate conferences on a rotating basis.

Anders Lind grew up in Västertorp, a suburban part of Stockholm. His great interest in bird watching resulted in him choosing to specialise in biology in upper secondary school, from which he graduated in 1965. After graduation, he enrolled in university studies but immediately started working as a substitute teacher in a lower secondary school in Västertorp, teaching biology and geography.
A glimpse from a yearly upcoming symposium (except during pandemic 2020 and 2021) on Marketing Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. The symposium started 2011 in London with an initiative of Professor Patrick E. Murphy, Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, USA, specializes in marketing and business ethics.
The symposium has been hosted by several Universities/ Business schools around Europe and USA.
Anders Hultqvist was born and raised in Småland. He managed his own press photography business, completed his military service at the Artillery Cadet and Aspirant School in Jönköping, served as an adviser on international law and reserve officer for just over 20 years, and worked as a police officer in Stockholm for five years.
During his years in as a police officer Anders Hultqvist started studying law and obtained his degree in 1985.
Bridget Kane, associate professor of Information Systems, spent three days in Copenhagen on a trip to Healthcare Denmark, and the European Headquarters of the World Health Organisation.
The field trip was organised through the Centre for Health Policy and Management at Trinity College Dublin.
