In June 2019, the excellence initiative in which the Service Research Centre (CTF) and Computer Science took part since 2014, came to an end. The initiative has allowed the research groups to grow and develop in order to continue producing world-class research. This is evident in the final reports from the groups.

Project description
The Swedish preschool is in a long-standing change from content-based focus to subject didactic teaching and learning environments, from children’s development in groups to a greater focus on children’s individual learning and development. Not least, new forms of distribution, responsibility and management of the work with the children have been implemented.
The Centre for Gender Studies (CGF) at Karlstad University has had a long standing focus upon investigating and practically developing different change processes in organisations of various kinds from a feminist perspective. This focus on “Action for Organisational Change” involves analysing, enabling, and generating social change.
