Week 43 coincides with both UNESCO’s Global MIL Week and SPARC’s Open Access Week. To highlight this, the University Library is organising three events. Two of them require registration, one by 17 October and one by 20 October at the latest.
First up is a film screening followed by a talk with the director, in the afternoon Tuesday 24 October. The film will be shown at Filmstaden in central Karlstad and is organised together with Region Värmland.
The law is an important tool for achieving sustainable development, but it has been criticised for not being effective enough. There is great interest from both the business sector and authorities in creating more effective environmental assessments. However, the Land and Environmental Courts have difficulty managing the complexity of environmental issues since the requirements for a legal review – rule of law, predictability and equal treatment – demand delimited and separate processes.

What do you do for a living?
- I am an estate agent at Skandiamäklarna in Linköping and I am very happy there. It is a stimulating working environment with very fun working tasks. Considering the fact that I have wanted to be an estate agent since I was 15 years old, this feels like a dream come true.
Why did you choose the real estate programme?
- Since I was certain of what I wanted to work with at an early age means I also had a very clear plan.
After a few issues with only a few history didatcic articles we improve this by having three such articles in 2018:1. Depending on our interset and profession we read the articles in different ways. The traditional historian read the articles in a general way and with different references than the history didactic. And this is what makes Nordidactica such an interesting meeting point for social studies didactics. The different subject fields of didactics can influence each other.
