Kunskapsgatan aim to be a science center for all the county Värmland. Its purpose is to inspire young peoples interests of technology and science.

Civil society's (new?) roles in combating homelessness: a follow-up study.
The project aims to enhance our understanding of the roles of civil society in the field of homelessness during the 2020s and whether and how these roles have changed since the late 1990s. The empirical study consists of interviews with representatives of civil society organizations working in the field of homelessness in Stockholm and Gothenburg, supplemented with relevant documents.
A new study in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggests that commercial satellite image archives should be opened to enhance research on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In the Swedish Sports Confederation's Guidelines for Children's and Youth Sports, it is stated that everyone in sports should work to create safe and inclusive sports environments for children and youth. In our contemporary society, these guidelines may have become even more important.
Transforming the current economy into a ‘new’ bioeconomy needs changed institutional frameworks at regional and national level, sensitive to and inclusive of placebased knowledge. This conference in Karlstad 27-28 of March, aimed at better understanding the role of people and networks in this transition.
New innovative products and services continue to emerge, which will further increase the demand for biomass.

New this year is the option to apply for an open genre as an alternative to our traditional genre areas for main instruments in both the music teacher program and the one-year course Music 60 credits.
The open genre is aimed at those who play music in a genre outside the areas of folk music, classical music, or jazz.
