The next board meeting is coming up soon. As usual, we compile a report for the board with the latest updates. One thing hits me. Since the last meeting, we have had three ministers visiting our university or planning to visit us, we have welcomed an astronaut, 2,500 upper-secondary school pupils, met with the Ministry of Education and Research, organised one of Sweden’s largest job fairs and, of course, many other exciting activities as well.

Erik Wästlund, Lecturer in Psychology and researcher at CTF, appears in the latest issue of the popular science magazine Scientific American. The article talks about how people easier understand and remember text on paper compared to text on a screen. - As a part of my Ph D thesis I conducted a study where I compared reading comprehension between paper and screen. The results showed that text on paper was easier to understand.

This article, by CTF-researchers Fredrik Wikström, Helén Williams and Jakob Trischler, aims to analyse the most important packaging functions that affect food waste in households for different products, as the reason for wastage can be expected to differ between different products. We are happy to welcome Jasenko Arsenovic, new Ph. D student in Business Administration to CTF. He will conduct his doctoral studies at CTF and is also linked to MIT, the Swedish Research School of Management and IT. Jasenko Arsenovic  has a Master’s of Science in Business and Economics from Linnaeus Univeristy and a Master´s degree in Informatics from IT, Management and Innovation program at Jönköping International Business School.
