After a year of planning, the Equadiff 2024 mathematics conference is fast approaching. Almost 500 mathematicians from around the world are expected to visit Karlstad and the university.
The conference will take place from June 10-14, featuring participants from countries such as Japan, USA, Brasil and France and will include over 200 talks and lectures.

- I am about to start my second year of my PhD studies at CTF under the supervision of professor Per Skålén. I spent my first year taking PhD courses all over Sweden and building the theoretical foundation upon which the empirical part of my study will be based.

Last week CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, together with Experio Lab, hosted a consortium meeting in Karlstad within the European research training network SDIN.
In addition to supervision of the doctoral candidates associated with SDIN, and a board meeting, a public conference was arranged with the intention to disseminate some of the research conducted within the project.

The new book “Quality of Life and Daily Travel” describes the relationships between life satisfaction, well-being and daily travel. "Making a Difference" was the theme of the Association for Consumer Research North American Conference that was held October 3-6 in Chicago, USA. The conference had about 1500 participants, including several world-leading researcher in consumer behavior. CTF was represented by researchers Anders Gustafsson and Tobias Otterbring.
