Leonardo Martucci is an electrical engineer. He holds a five-year degree in electrical engineering and a two-year master's in the same field from the University of São Paulo. He completed his PhD in Computer Science at Karlstad University, followed by postdoctoral appointments at TU Darmstadt, Germany, and Linköping University.

Sofia Wijkmark grew up in Skara, where she studied the humanities programme at upper secondary school. Following graduation, she studied Spanish at the University of Skövde, University of Gothenburg and Universidad de Alcalá, as well as comparative literature and Swedish language at Karlstad University. She completed her PhD in comparative literature at Karlstad University in 2009, and has remained faithful to Värmland ever since. “My research has two main strands.

His career within sport and exercise psychology has been at universities as a faculty member and administrator.

Experts who are open to change view ideas as opportunities and approach idea screening as a generative process, while conservative experts are more reserved in their idea screening activities. These are the findings of a new study where researchers at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, have examined how a person’s sense of identity influences the way in which they screen early ideas for innovation projects.

Renee McDonald has lived most of her life in Texas, United States. She is one of three children of working-class parents. She had a 10-year career as a software and systems developer, attending night classes along the way to work toward a college degree. Realizing she enjoyed the field of psychology, she returned to college full time and then went to graduate school to obtain a PhD in clinical psychology.

Ida Flink, Professor of Psychology

Ida Flink was born and raised in Årjäng. After spending a few years abroad following graduation from upper secondary school, she moved to Örebro to enroll in the psychology programme. Immediately after graduation, she went on to doctoral studies at the same university, where the first two years were combined with the practical placement required to become a licenced psychologist.
