The feeling of being more independent. More time to support and encourage the residents to manage on their own. These are some reflections from residents and staff at Resurscentrum in Karlstad Municipality, who tested a so called intelligent shower for one year.

This panel focuses on sexual and gendered resistances and claims for rights, self-definition and subject formation, both in the form of organised activism and lived experience in opposition to dominant norms.
The EU programme titled Industry 5.0 aims to employ research and innovation to achieve a more sustainable and human-centric European industry. Some of the work within this initiative is carried out at Karlstad University.

The project aims to contribute to the strengthening of regional innovation systems in Värmland, in relation to the transition to a forest-based sustainable bioeconomy.
The project explores what it means for a region to transit towards a bio-economy, and the processes through which regional actors build and implement such transition.

In this panel, the focus is on the continuity and changes in the conflict between labor and capital and how it is manifested in the everyday life of workers and workplace struggles. 40 years of neoliberal labor market politics have in many ways transformed the Swedish labor market weakening workers as a collective and unions.
