Abstract
When we use any type of digital platform – music streaming services, train ticket bookings, dating apps, e-stores – our digital traces are collected, stored, analyzed and used to classify us and our actions.
The Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) recently conducted and extensive evaluation of 40 nursing specialisation programmes at 25 higher education institutions in Sweden.
Geomedia Speaker Series is a series of lectures and workshops focusing on the field of geomedia studies, i.e., the intersection of media and communication studies and human geography. Internationally leading researchers from different disciplines are invited to give an open lecture and participate in a thematic workshop with members of the Geomedia centre, and other interested parties.

The University Library is an important hub at our institution. It’s where students, researchers and lecturers meet – and receive support from skilled librarians! Mas Karin Gustafsson is one of the dedicated individuals who help generate new knowledge.
Mas Karin Gustafsson has worked as a librarian at the University Library since 2022. What drew her to apply for the position was the opportunity to be part of a place where new knowledge is both created and shared.
Jenny Wilson is an internationally known Swedish indie musician, artist, and not least, producer. Her music is electro-influenced and energetic, and her lyrics are confrontational, often critical of society. At the same time, she does not shy away from being very vulnerable and personal, which is a significant part of her expression.
Anna Jansson jumped in at the deep end. She has lived in Germany and Ireland, and for the last four years she has called San Francisco home. She started by taking freestanding courses at Karlstad University and today she is brand marketing manager at Google.
