We welcome Qusay Hamdan, visiting Phd student from the University of Gent, who will be visiting us until the end of September. His research focuses on the influence of materialistic consumption on the well-being of the working class.
Qusay Hamdan is a PhD student in sustainable marketing at the University of Gent in Belgium, and a research associate at Vlerick Business School in Belgium.

You just returned to Sweden after spending a couple of months in Australia, what did you do there?
- I was a guest professor at University of Queensland Business School in Brisbane, Australia. During my stay there I focused on our research related to customer experiences and service innovation that is conducted within one of CTF’s major research profiles “Service Innovation for Sustainable Business”.

Corrinne Kelley, Ph. D Student at Florida State University, USA, is currently visiting CTF for three weeks to work on a joint project with our researchers Anders Gustafsson and Poja Shams.
– I am visiting CTF to help run an experiment for a project I have been working on with Anders Gustafsson, Poja Shams and my two advisors Maura L. Scott and Martin Mende. We will be using a scent machine as well as eye tracking technology.

Per Pettersson, professor of sociology of religion at CTF, is retiring after 26 years as researcher and research leader focusing religious and social change with a service perspective. As senior professor he looks forward to meeting research colleagues around the world as soon as the corona pandemic slows down.
Per has an academic background in theology at Uppsala University, and was ordained as priest in the Church of Sweden 1979.

Starting January 1st 2017 Per Kristensson will be the director of CTF. He succeeds Henrietta Huzell who will start her new assignment as vice dean at Karlstad University.
