Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer technology that allows the creation of virtual environments and simulation of the user's physical presence within these environments. It is also possible for the user to interact with the created virtual reality.

Avit K. Bhowmik, lead data modeller in the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and researcher at the Centre for Societal Risk Research at Karlstad University participated in this years Earth Day Week. Avit Bhowmik joined the Earth Day Week, a six day online climate conference, April 20-25, arranged by We Don’t Have Time.
The former Information Systems doctoral student Julio Angulo, now at Google Research is giving a Google Talk. Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible  and useful.

Isn’t it obvious that women spend more money than men in the presence of a physically fit male employee? Isn’t it obvious that viewing an opposite-sex individual with an attractive face makes people more motivated to choose healthy rather than unhealthy foods? And, isn’t it obvious that restricting product touch in a store decreases rather than increases consumer spending? After all, these are all beliefs held by consumers and even marketing professors.

Kau Science Week on Instagram

Kauresearch is the name of the university’s Instagram account where we share research information, news and glimpses of everyday life as a researcher - often with a fun twist. During the Nobel Week, 4-10 December, the university will draw on the special attention paid to science through a themed week, Kau Science Week. The themed week will mainly appear on Kauresearch, but also on other platforms, such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
