Karlstad University has received funding from the KK Foundation to build an industrial research school in forest-based bioeconomy and digitization. The project runs from June 2023 to May 2029. Research on organic solar cells at Karlstad University is now taking another step forward, thanks to support from WISE, the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability. The sun is an enormous resource and increasingly important for electricity production. Roughly one to two hours of sunlight hitting the Earth corresponds to the entire annual energy consumption of humanity.
The EH International Programme Scholarship provides a 50% tuition-fee reduction for outstanding students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who are admitted to an eligible STEM programme (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at either bachelor’s or master’s level at Karlstad University.
