Four computer science students at Karlstad University have been recognized for their exceptional project work in the Software Engineering course. The project team, comprising Jonatan Altebro, Viktor Hajto, Martin Ramnér and Elmar Gebre Yekuno, earned high praise from faculty for their professionalism and innovation.
The team developed GoldenYears, an Android application designed to support elderly users in maintaining their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Reflecting on the past year, I feel pride in several significant achievements and moments of excitement. Most importantly, I am grateful for everyone’s contributions in doing research that is externally funded and oriented.

Christmas and the New Year are approaching and it is time to sum up another year at Karlstad University. The 25th in order, or the 47th or 181st, depending on how you count. Or the second, for me personally.

On December 4, high school students, university students, doctoral candidates, senior researchers, and company representatives gathered at Karlstad University to work together in teams on current mathematical challenges presented by businesses during the The Mathematics Meets Industry Day (MiMM Day).
