General entry requirements, plus English 6, Mathematics 3b or 3c, and Social Studies 1b or 1a1+1a2.

Tuition fees
- Total fee: 288,000 SEK
- Per semester / First payment: 48,000 SEK

While studying
Education
To ensure that all students in the programme have a broad, shared knowledge base in the field of business administration, the first four semesters consist of mandatory courses taken by all students in the programme. Before the fifth semester, students choose a specialization in either marketing or management and write their bachelor?s thesis in English within the chosen area.The sixth semester must be spent at a foreign university or company, where students are expected to strengthen their global profile and develop their ability to understand and operate in different cultures. Studying or completing an internship abroad is mandatory.
To help students develop the skills and competencies outlined in the programme?s learning objectives, teaching is conducted through a combination of lectures and exercises, as well as practical case studies that are presented both orally and in writing, in Swedish and English. Through these varied teaching methods, students take an active role in the learning process. The ability to communicate professionally, to simplify and present material effectively, and to collaborate with others runs as a common thread throughout the entire programme.
Form of Instruction
The studies require full-time commitment. The scheduled teaching varies, and many courses include seminars and project work. Active participation is expected, and the courses also involve independent study.Study Abroad
As part of the programme, it is mandatory to either spend a semester abroad at one of Karlstad University's partner universities or to complete an internship abroad. This experience enhances your international profile, provides valuable insight into other cultures, and makes your CV more attractive to future employers. Karlstad University has exchange agreements with over 200 universities in more than 35 countries.
