Prerequisites
A Degree of Bachelor of 180 credits, of which at least 90 credits are in Sports Science as the main field of study, including an independent project of at least 15 credits at G2E level. Upper secondary school level Swedish 3 and English 6/B. An equivalence assessment can be made.

Tuition fees
- Total fee: 192,000 SEK
- Per semester / First payment: 48,000 SEK
You do not have to pay tuition fees if you are an exchange student or a citizen of a country within the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland.

Form of Instruction
The programme's mandatory courses adds up to part-time studies. This is a distance education with a few on-campus seminars (approximately 2-3 per semester). The programme structure is open, which allows for significant student customisation in terms of profile and study rate. The programme offers two possible outcomes, with the possibility to receive either a Degree of Master (120 credits) or a Degree of Master (60 ECTS credits). Examination
Examinations are conducted both individually and in groups, and are either written or oral. As a rule, assessment is based on written reports, group assignments, project work, and active participation in seminars.Professional Contact
The programme is conducted in close collaboration with several organisations and businesses. Partners include RF/SISU Värmland, Karlstad municipality, IF Göta, KMTI and ACTIC. These interactions with organisations and businesses consists of guest lectures, collaborative events and collaborations related to degree projects.Course of study

Employment Market
The Sports and Health Coaching Programme prepares you for a professional life as a trainer/coach in the sports industry, as a sports consultant or as a club or sports director. It also prepares you for working as a health coach, personal trainer and similar professions. You will also be eligible for applying to doctoral studies in sport science.Degree
