CSR seminar: An epidemiological basis for targeted preventive actions
CSR seminar at Karlstad University on Tuesday 1 October, 10:15-12:00, 1D 227.
GeoTIME (Geomapping for Targeted Interventions and Methods for Evaluation) is a research program funded by Forte’s long-term investment in research on prevention and public health. The aim of the GeoTIME programme is to develop, adapt and make available methods that will facilitate public health interventions at the small-residential-area level. The GeoTIME investigators are affiliated to University of Gothenburg and Karlstad University.
In this seminar, the PI, Ulf Strömberg, School of Public Health and Community Medicine, Institute of Medicine, Sahlgrenska Academy at University of Gothenburg, Sweden, will elaborate on how to create an epidemiological basis for targeted preventive actions linked to the Swedish healthcare system, based on sociodemographic data for small areas (DeSOs) provided by Statistics Sweden, and correspondingly geographically stratified disease and screening participation data from national and regional healthcare registers.
We will start with coffee or tea! Please register by e-mail: csr@kau.se, no later than Friday 27 September
Warm welcome!
