Med anledning av att rektor Johan Sterte fått ett nytt uppdrag som landshövding i Västmanland avslutar han sitt förordnande som rektor vid Karlstads universitet tidigare än planerat.

Rektor slutar den 31 oktober 2022. Tills att rekryteringsprocessen efter en ersättare är klar utses en tillförordnad rektor. Styrelsen har i uppdrag att föreslå regeringen om en tillförordnad rektor.
Johan Sterte will end his appointment as Vice-Chancellor earlier than planned
Due to the fact that Vice-Chancellor Johan Sterte has been given a new assignment as Governor of Västmanland, he will terminate his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of Karlstad University earlier than planned. The Vice-Chancellor will leave on October 31 2022. Until the recruitment process for a replacement is completed, an acting Vice-Chancellor will be appointed. The board has the assignment to propose to the government an acting Vice-Chancellor.
