Panel discussion: The recycling mall Rundgång
Henric Barkman, Environmental strategist, Karlstads municipality
Malin Pettersson, Business area manager recycling services, Karlstads Energy
Emma Sundh, Circular entrepreneur, project leader Rundgång Karlstad
Henric is an environmental strategist and project manager for "Climate Neutral Karlstad 2030". Through his work at Karlstad Municipality and beyond, he has become a specialist in circular economy and innovation.
Malin has the challenging mission of working both with waste and with changing the view of what waste is. The goal is to reduce the amount of waste in Karlstad and create more circular loops for the material. That work involves both the perspective of both reuse and recycling. In recent years, Karlstads Energi has shifted its focus from only handling generated waste to being involved in the work upstream. We usually say that we work higher up the waste ladder.
Emma works as a freelance journalist, lecturer, upcycling stylist, and influencer focused on climate and sustainable transition. She runs the Plan B Podcast and is one of the co-founders of the non-profit organization Klimatklubben (The Climate Club). Emma was the project manager of the (pop-up) recycling mall Rundgång.
