The research team wants to achieve new ways of thinking on process design and process control, and to develop new innovative pellet additives. One path forward is to fundamentally understand how biomass properties and bonding mechanisms affect pellet durability and strength.
During this seminar, key results from tests of different materials in two types of pellet presses, a single pellet press and a pilot pellet press, are presented - and a new project idea will be introduced.
