The engineer at the service of Archaeology

Professor Benoit Haut from Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) will give the seminar “The engineer at the service of Archaeology - a new vision of ancient hydraulic remains through the use of current knowledge in fluid mechanics”

During this open seminar, we propose to illustrate the contribution of fluid dynamics to the interpretation of ancient hydraulic remains. Following the course of the water (catchment, extra-mural transport, intramural transport, use and drainage), the results of recent works, conducted at the ULB and in other universities, will be presented.
