Library Researcher Support seminar series: Research Data Management & Open Data
Research data is a crucial component of any research project. Understanding research data management and effectively planning how this data will be managed will not only give the research project a strong start by addressing the entire data life cycle from collection to sharing and archiving but also fulfill the criteria set by many research funders who often mandate a comprehensive data management plan with grant applications.
In this webinar we will explore the fundamentals of research data management, how to create an effective plan, and the benefits it brings to you as a researcher. We will also talk about enhancing research quality and transparency through publishing data open access, and key considerations when making your data openly available.
If you have limited time but wants to get useful information and tips about open data and research data management, please join this webinar which will be held via Zoom and in English. Questions in Swedish are also welcome. No registration is required. Welcome!
