Michael Eden
postdoktor i matematik

Forskning
My scientific work is usually problem-driven and can be categorized as applied mathematics.
Two recent examples:
- We developed a model for the mechanical properties of so-called fibre-reinforced hydrogels which are used for in-vitro growth of cartilage.
- Together with engineers from the IFW (Hannover, Germany), we try to model and investigate the cooling effect of lubricants in grinding processes.
