I also have many years of experience from research in the field of contract-based business relationships in the IT industry, with a particular focus on conditions for successful outsourcing of system development, IT operation and IT maintenance management.
Lately I have developed an interest in understanding how innovation can be realized in outsourcing business relationships. In my ongoing research I am therefore interested in increasing our understanding about what innovation in outsourcing actually means as well as the prerequisites for innovation in outsourcing.
Besides my position as a researcher I also lecture undergraduate cources in information systems, mainly in business development and how IT can enable business development. I also have great experience in supervising students writing their bachelor thesis.
Further, I am program coordinator for two of three profiles within the 3-year study programme IT-design: Enterprise Systems and Economy and Information Systems Design.
