Linda Bergkvist is assistant professor in information systems at Karlstad Business School, Karlstad University and researcher at CTF – Service Research Center – in Karlstad, Sweden. Linda earned her Ph.D from Karlstad University in 2014 with her dissertation Towards a Framework for Relational-Oriented Management of Information Systems Outsourcing: Key Conditions Connected to Actors, Relationships and Process. In her dissertation she investigated management of information systems outsourcing with a particular focus on contract-based business relationships and conditions for successful outsourcing of system development.
Her research is focused on digitalisation including business development with IT, implementation and adoption of digital technology, and data-driven innovation. She is also involved in research within e-health and she has a particular interest in the user perspective of e-health services. Linda has been involved in several research projects and have extensive experience in collecting qualitative data such as interviews, observations and focus groups. Today she is involved in different research projects on digitalisation, one project investigating how a digital service can support behavioral change and another project studying how users can become involved in co-creation of digital services.
Besides Lindas position as a researcher she also lectures undergraduate and graduate cources in business development with IT (i.e., digitalisation) at Karlstad Business School. She also has great experience in supervision at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level.
