Tomas Gustavsson, lecturer and doctoral student in Project Management at Karlstad Business School, was elected as a member of the Swedish Project Academy on 20 April. This makes him the second representative of Karlstad Business School next to Lennart Ljung, senior lecturer in Project Management, who is already a member. “It is a great honour and recognition of my research in agile project management”, says Tomas Gustavsson.

Cormac McCarthy, author of novels such as Blood Meridian, Cities of the Plain, and The Road, is the subject of a new dissertation from Karlstad University. Fredrik Svensson highlights neglected aspects of a decades-long authorship that has produced a considerable number of novels, plays, and screenplays. McCarthy’s oeuvre spans over five decades, from the 1960s to the early 2000s, and includes ten novels.

Researchers at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, have been granted funding from the research council Formas, to plan and further develop the project "Social dimensions in urban and regional planning: the importance of perceived accessibility". The researchers will, in close collaboration with urban and regional planners and practitioners, develop a joint project about everyday travel and perceived accessibility.
