Business Administration
We offer several educational programs including a four-year Programme in Business and Economics. Our research is at a high international level and a large part of the research is conducted at CTF, Service Research Center, one of the University’s Excellence Centers. We actively collaborate with the surrounding community, both in the public and private sectors.
Business administration is the science of companies’ and organizations’ conditions, terms and operations. The subject consists of multiple sub-areas; marketing, organization theory, management accounting, accounting and finance. We offer education in all these areas and foremost through our programs: the four-year Programme in Business and Economics, the Real Estate Management and International Business programs. After completing our programs our students have good possibilities to find developing and stimulating jobs as accountants, real estate agents, project managers or marketing managers.
We conduct research in the majority of the business administration areas. Our most internationally recognized research is in the field of service research. Many of our researchers have received awards and honors for their research and publish regularly in leading international scientific journals. Our research is funded by the Swedish Research Council, Vinnova, the Knowledge Foundation, Forte along with other leading funding bodies.
